Not Ola but now get Ambulance for 24×7 in Jamshedpur.


Jamshedpur, March 15 : Brahmananda Narayana Multispeciality Hospital (BNMH) , one of the leading multi-super-specialty tertiary care hospitals in the state rolled out a 24×7 Free Ambulance Service for cardiac emergencies dedicated to the people of Jamshedpur.

The ambulance will be stationed at five major locations in the city of Jamshedpur namely Adityapur, Bistupur, Sakchi, Tata Nagar Railway Station, Sonari and Telco apart from the hospital located at Saraikela Kharsawan.

Jamshedpur has long suffered a lack of properly established and coordinated ambulance services that can come to the prompt assistance of cardiac emergencies that require immediate medical assistance.

It was observed that casualties were rising in the area and there were not many ambulances that operated with full-fledged team and emergency support devices.

Hence, Brahmananda Narayana Multispeciality Hospital encouraged the acquisition of cardiac emergency ambulance to provide timely care and treatment to those who require medical attention on emergency basis.

“We are committed to achieving the highest standards in safety and well-being for all our stakeholders and the environment that we operate in. There has been an alarming rise in deaths due to delay in patients reaching the hospital for medical emergency treatment and we will ensure and promote to reverse this trend”, said Venkateshwarlu Marapaka, Facility Director – Brahmananda Narayana Multispeciality Hospital after flagging-off the new ambulance service at the hospital premises.

“The new ambulance with advanced life support system will be better equipped to tackle emergency cases with more sophisticated equipment. The state-of-the-art ambulance will help ferry critical patients safely. We recognize that every single moment is valuable in saving the life of a critical patient and hence the initiative to launch the Cardiac Ambulance services ” he added.

The helpline number to contact the ambulance service is 76548 24 365 wherein the last five digits signify 24 hour and 365 days (round the clock service).

The ambulances were flagged-off by Venkateshwarlu in the presence of senior doctors from the hospital’s cardiac team comprising of Dr. Perwaiz Alam(Senior Cardiac Surgeon) , Dr. Abhay Krishna ( Interventional Cardiologist) and Dr. Bimlendu Kumar( Interventional Cardiologist).
